Up-and-coming Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Jordan Addison was officially charged with two misdemeanors In Los Angeles County.
The misdemeanors stemmed from a July 12 arrest that occurred in the area of the Los Angeles International Airport. The arrest was made due to suspicion of inebriated operation of a motor vehicle.

When officers approached Addison, he was asleep at the wheel while blocking traffic near the Los Angeles International Airport.
Addison, who was driving a white Rolls-Royce, was found to be driving with a BAC over the legal limit (.08%).
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said in an article from the Star Tribune explained that behavior like Addison’s would not be acceptable.
“You wrap your arms around these guys, and you ensure they know that we care,” O’Connell said. “But at the same time, they have to understand things that are [not] going to be acceptable by any stretch.”

Addison was charged for the two misdemeanors on July 31. He will have to go to court in Los Angeles on Oct. 7. If Addison is found guilty of his crimes, he could potentially go to jail for up to six months.
Addison could also have to pay up to $2,000 in fines as well as suffer a loss of his driver’s license for up to six months.
The NFL issues three-game suspensions for criminal offenses that involve alcohol as a part of their program on substances of abuse. Addison was in trouble last summer for excessive speeding, but the charge did not involve any substances making this his first substance-related offense.
Addison said he would take whatever is coming to him in the same Star Tribune article.
[Addison] said he would “own up to whatever disciplinary actions that come my way” as a result of the case.

Upon hearing the news that Addison could be facing jail time for the incident that occurred in July, many fans took to social media to voice their opinions.
A large portion of fans think there is no chance Addison will be forced to face jail time while other contingencies of fans think Addison will be getting off too easy and should be punished more by the law and the NFL.
He won’t get any jail time but this does suck. He has plenty of money to call an Uber.
