Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, has received his share of appreciation and praise from the public for his coaching style of the team. Tomlin, who has been coaching the Steelers since 2007, has managed to take his team to the Super Bowl only once. Despite his winning percentage being so low, Tomlin is still considered one of the top-rated head coaches in the National Football League today.
Tomlin has been receiving plenty of jabs from none other than former players Ryan Clark and James Harrison, whom he coached in the past. In a recent article by NFL analyst Troy Montgomery, Asante Samuel, who also played under Tomlin in the past, quoted the retired cornerback coming to the defense of his former coach.
“James Deebo Harrison and Ryan Clark, y’all step to the table because y’all are weak as hell… Talking behind y’all former coach’s back when y’all grown a** men had a chance to handle the situation when he coached y’all,” Asante Samuel criticized Ryan Clark and James Harrison for their continuous criticism of Mike Tomlin.
Many NFL fans have been calling for Mike Tomlin’s departure from the Pittsburgh Steelers as head coach. While the winning record between Tomlin and the Steelers is pretty shabby at the moment, the head coach seems pretty confident of getting close to the Lombardi trophy for the 2025 season.

This time out, Mike Tomlin has a new weapon in veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers last played for the New York Jets but was released by the team earlier in March. However, the Steelers seem to be quite confident that Rodgers is the man for them and is pinning all their expectations on the QB.

Mike Tomlin’s General Manager May Soon Be Out Of A Job
On another note, Mike Tomlin’s Pittsburgh Steelers may have someone in the hot seat, according to recent rumors. Apparently, this is the reason why the team has been making risky investments as of late. The latest offseason move was the Steelers trading Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Miami Dolphins in return for Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith.

Several NFL analysts believe that moves of this sort are usually made by those who are on the hot seat about their job. However, nothing of this sort has been actually revealed by the Steelers franchise. Whatever the matter may be, the Pittsburgh Steelers currently seem to be doing everything in their power to get to the playoffs and somehow win the Super Bowl in the upcoming season.
