Mike Hall Jr. came to the Cleveland Browns this offseason with promising upside, and now the former Ohio State star is facing the possibility that he will never play a regular season snap for the team after being arrested for domestic violence on Tuesday morning.
A police report from the Hall domestic violence case came out Tuesday afternoon, and there was a disturbing situation that involved pulling out a gun. “According to a police report, Hall grabbed a handgun during an argument, pressed it against a woman’s temple and threatened, “I will f—ing end it all. I don’t care.”
Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was charged with domestic violence in Avon, Ohio, after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun Monday night, according to a police report.

Domestic violence is nothing to take lightly, and the Cleveland Browns need to get out in front of this issue now and release Hall from the team.
Cleveland Browns Have To Get Rid Of Hall
The Browns spent a second-round pick on Hall this offseason, so it’s going to be hard for the team to want to part ways with him, but it doesn’t matter what pick they used or how much money they are paying him; he can’t be on this roster, and he needs to be cut by the time the Browns take the field in their second preseason game this weekend.
If the team doesn’t want to release him at the moment, they need to put him on indefinite suspension until they receive more facts about the case. However, if Hall were a sixth-round pick instead of a high draft pick, he would’ve been cut two minutes after the story broke.
Hopefully, Hall will get the help he needs and maybe play football again one day elsewhere, but his days in Cleveland are numbered, and if the Browns part ways with him now, it would be the best move for both parties.
