Mike Florio, founder of ProFootballTalk, did not hesitate to call out renowned sports reporter Adam Schefter for the way he treated the news of former Raiders defensive tackle Christian Wilkins’ exit from the team. The Las Vegas Raiders released Wilkins a few days back, but the reason was actually not formally mentioned in their statements.

However, Adam Schefter made headlines when he remarked on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ that Wilkins was released from the team because he kissed another player on the forehead in the locker room. The player whom Wilkins kissed took offense and complained to the management which eventually led to his release from the team according to Schefter. These comments were definitely not proven which led to Florio condemning Schefter for his biased reporting.
“Why does the reporter do it? Because it pays off on the backend. For example, when Micah Parsons signs his contract, Schefter may be the first one to report it now. Because it’s the same agent representing both guys. That’s the transactional nature of the insider game. Every once in a while you eat a little sh*t, you push something that may not be accurate or you let somebody tell you a lie that you put out there because you know they’ll owe you one and they’ll make it up to you on the backend because that other stuff doesn’t really get noticed and scrutinized the way it should. That happens. That’s the game. And he’s not the only one who plays it. They all play it, and it’s one of the reasons why I don’t.” Mike Florio called out Adam Schefter on ‘PFT Live’.
Mike Florio basically commented that Christian Wilkins’ statements by Adam Schefter seemed more favorable to the player, and his agent David Mulugheta. Mulugheta has already been in the news for a few months now as he continues to negotiate a better contract extension for his client, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.

Mike Florio Feels Micah Parsons Should Not Have Reported To Training Camp
Mike Florio stopped by the ‘Rich Eisen Show’ a couple of days back and he had some strong words to say about Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys. The linebacker is still trying for a stronger contract with the team.

After not showing up to training with the team’s minicamps sometime back, Micah Parsons shocked everyone by attending the training camp. However, Florio feels that Parsons should not have come to camp at all and instead continued his holdout.
