The Michigan Wolverines number-one target for the 2024 recruiting cycle is QB Jadyn Davis. The five-star recruit has been in contact with the program for a while and Jim Harbaugh is hoping that Davis can be the future at the QB position. The team holds a lead on the recruit as he is set for an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor this weekend.

Michigan Wolverines Jadyn Davis
Davis is a 6-foot, 205-pound quarterback prospect out of Charlotte, North Carolina. According to 247, he is the second-ranked QB recruit in the nation and 15th overall. The good news is that Michigan has an early lead. There have been five crystal balls given to Jadyn Davis. All of them are for the Michigan Wolverines. This is great news for the program as securing the QB position is essential for any program.

Michigan Hoping To Lock Down The QB Position
I don’t care how good the recruiting classes are. If the QB position is not figured out, the program will struggle. Look at what happened with the Iowa Hawkeyes last year. They had a dominant defense full of NFL talent but the offense was so bad that the team finished in the middle of the pack. If Michigan is going to keep being in the national championship conversation, they need to solidify the QB position for years to come.
The visit this weekend will be huge for Davis. New quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell will meet with Davis for the first time. This will hopefully improve the Wolverines’ standing as Campbell has had some great early returns from recruits and current players. Keep an eye out for when Davis officially commits.
