The Michigan Wolverines finished the regular season with a 7-5 record after winning the National Championship a season ago. Michigan upset the Ohio State Buckeyes and they have won four straight games against them. The Wolverines lost Jim Harbaurgh as head coach to the NFL and Sherrone Moore did alright for his first season with the team.

They will also face the Alabama Crimson Tide in a bowl game to end the 2024 college football season. Despite a down year for the Michigan Wolverines, they have a lot to look forward to in 2025.
Michigan Wolverines Schedule For 2025 Released

The Michigan Wolverines’ schedule for 2025 is very favorable. They avoid the Indiana Hoosiers, the Oregon Ducks, and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Outside of the Ohio State Buckeyes matchup on November 29 at home, the BIG10 schedule will be very favorable for them.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Maryland Terrapins, and the USC Trojans could be the toughest opponents on Michigan’s schedule outside of the Ohio State game. They will also face the Michigan State Spartans on the road on October 25.
They will open up the season on August 30 against the New Mexico Lobos and then have an SEC opponent against the Oklahoma Sooners the following week. There is a chance that Michigan could have a major bounce back in 2025.

Wow we better go 12-0 or 11-1. There is no excuse not to

12-0

Ohio State & Michigan Agricultural should be our only protected matchups. We shouldn’t be repeating U.S.C., Washington, & Northwestern until we have faced Penn State, Iowa, & U.C.L.A.

Pretty favorable. At OU and USC, and OSU will be the toughest games. Right now, it’s hard to say what the team is going to look like and play like but 10 wins looks very doable.

Interestingly, the Michigan Wolverines will not be facing the Penn State Nittany Lions once again in college football next season in the BIG10 Conference. Michigan will also be getting number one recruit quarterback Bryce Underwood to the team next season. The Wolverines have a chance to be a special team in 2025, but it is hard to tell if they can go 12-0 or 11-1 and get back to the postseason.
