Michigan finally won its first outright national title last season since 1948, and for a team that just brought home the trophy, not many people are high on the squad this upcoming season.
The Wolverines lost head coach Jim Harbaugh, quarterback J.J. McCarthy, and most of their starters to the NFL this offseason, but just because they lost a lot on both sides of the ball, don’t count them out just yet.
Michigan still has the best cornerback in college football, Will Johnson, and defensive tackle Mason Graham, and they should have another elite season on defense.
The offense will be a little rusty since a new quarterback will be under center, and signs are pointing to Alex Orji as the guy. Orji is great with his legs, but his throwing ability is a little shaky. If the 6-foot-3 quarterback can figure out the passing game, the Wolverines will be elite again, and one ESPN Analyst thinks they can make moves again in the Big Ten this season.
Michigan Wolverines Are Not Respected
ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit was on College GameDay Saturday morning and brought up how no one respects this year’s Michigan team. Herbstreit stated,” No one respects Michigan, and the Wolverines have a new chip on their shoulder”
The former Ohio State quarterback also stated, “I might be crazy. I’m not saying Michigan is going to win the Big Ten, but I’m much higher on Michigan than I think a lot of people,”

Herbstreit brought up many great points about the Wolverines; nobody should doubt this team. The roster still has a ton of talent, and new head coach Sherrone Moore has shown he can win big-time games, getting wins against Penn State and Ohio State as the interim head coach last season.
The Wolverines do have three very tough matchups with Texas, Oregon, and Ohio State, and if they can pull off a win in one of those games and not lose another matchup, they could be a 10-2 team that makes the college football playoffs and goes on a serious run.

Nobody respects Michigan because they are corrupted. They cheated their way to a national championship and are arrogant in their response to the charges. They are the scurvy program of the NCAA. No respect intended.
