Michigan is not backing down under new head coach Sherrone Moore when many expected the team to take a step back. Moore was the interim head coach this past season for the last three Big Ten regular season games after Jim Harbaugh was suspended for cheating and won all three games, including Penn State and Ohio State.

Moore already proved that he can win major games, but we needed to see how he would do as the team’s main recruiter. He has done a pretty good job this offseason and landed one of the best defensive players in the 2025 class.
Michigan Flips A Four Star Safety

According to Hayes Fawcett from On3.com, four-star safety Ivan Taylor has flipped his commitment from Notre Dame to Michigan.
Taylor is from Winter Garden, Florida, committed to the Fighting Irish in December. If Ivan Taylor’s name sounds familiar, he is the son of former NFL cornerback Ike Taylor.

The six-foot safety is currently ranked as the second-best at his position in the 2025 class, according to 247sports.com, and Michigan already has the third-ranked safety in 2025, Kainoa Winston, committed to the program.
Michigan will not slow down anytime soon, and this is just the start of fantastic recruiting by new head Sherrone Moore and the rest of the coaching staff.
