Taking down Ohio State 13-10, Michigan handed Ryan Day and the Buckeyes their fourth straight loss. According to ESPN Research, Michigan was a 20.5-point underdog, the second-biggest line in the rivalry dating back to 1978.
Despite missing two of their top players in cornerback Will Johnson and tight end Colston Loveland, both expected to go first in the next NFL draft, the Wolverines still pulled off one of the biggest upsets this season.
However, things went sideways fast after the game was over.

According to Lou Flavius of Total Pro Sports:
A massive brawl broke out after the Wolverines beat their hosts for the fourth time in as many years, leading to one of Michigan’s players trying to plant a school flag on the Ohio State midfield logo.
Of course, the home team wasn’t going to let him do that.
A melee quickly ensued, with police getting involved. And the video below shows two of them administering pepper spray in an effort to get things under control.

Michigan-Ohio State Fight Did Not Call For Pepper Spray, According To Social Media
Fans on social media thought the cops’ use of pepper spray was a bit excessive.
“My Cops Randomly Assaulting Players prop cashed at +2700 though, so we vibing 😎,” someone wrote in the comments.
“completely unnecessary,” said another.
“These cops are THUGS!” another user declared.
However, others felt it was warranted.
“People act like this is unjustified. Brawls and riots on a football field are no different from any other location. Cannot disregard police instruction and assault others without consequence. Arrests should have been made,” a fan stated.
“LAW AND ORDER. REFRESHING TO SEE,” a second added.
“Good! Just because you’re a player means nothing in the real world. Want to act like a clown? Get treated like one,” said a third.
