Michigan football is riding high right now. After back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances, the team is looking to sustain that success on the recruiting trail. The program just got a crystal ball for a top-3 recruit from the state of Ohio.

Michigan Football Gets Crystal Ball For Ohio Recruit
Brian Robinson is a 6-foot-5 255-pound four-star edge prospect out of Youngstown, Ohio. He is the no. 3 recruit from the state of Ohio. The program picked up a big crystal ball this weekend from Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider. It is the fourth crystal ball that Michigan has received for Robinson. While nothing is official, they are trending in the right direction to pick up another high-profile prospect. While Robinson has a lot of offers, it seems the most competition is from Penn State and Kentucky.
Sticking It To The State Of Ohio
What makes this even sweeter is the fact that it is a recruit from the state of Ohio. Hated rival Ohio State should have the lead on prospects in the state but Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines have started to sway prospects to come north. If the Wolverines can begin to siphon talent away from the Buckeyes, it will heavily benefit the Wolverines. While nothing is official yet if Robinson does commit to the Wolverines, it will not only be a great get for the program but it will also give more bragging rights to Michigan.
The Wolverines are hungry to get back to the College Football Playoff. While they have lost some players, JJ McCarthy, Blake Corum, and Donovan Edwards all return this year. If Harbaugh can continue getting top recruiting classes, and recruits from the state of Ohio, Michigan should be in the mix for years to come.
