Michigan’s game against Minnesota is just a day away, and they will be looking to get their second Big Ten win after pulling off the late upset against USC last week.
The Wolverines only threw for 32 yards last week with their new quarterback Alex Orji, so they are looking to improve the passing game this week, and they will also be doing it in front of a major celebrity because vice president candidate Tim Walz will be in attendance for the game.
Michigan Makes A Tone-Deaf Post About Hurricane Helene
Michigan will be wearing blue jerseys and Maize pants, and they posted a picture of the uniform on their social media account with the caption “Looking Good In Any Weather,” which many people have had an issue with since Hurricane Helene ripped through the South, killing at least 40 people across four different states.
The Ann Arbor area is supposed to experience rain during the game on Saturday, which is coming from the hurricane. That’s why the post said they can look good in any weather.
Many fans called for the post to be taken down since it was horrible timing to say Michigan looks good in any weather since a terrible hurricane is taking the lives of innocent people and ripping homes, businesses, and so many other valuable things apart.

Michigan ended up taking down the post after a lot of backlash from fans and it was just a tone-deaf for the program to make the post in the first place.
Many rival fans were the ones first to point out the post, and of course, Michigan fans were defending their team, but the post was bad timing, and it was good to see the team take it down, considering all the horrible things happening to people down south due to the Hurricane.
Hurricane Helene has already canceled a few college football games this weekend, including Florida A&M’s and Alabama A&M’s games and App State’s home game against Liberty.
