Dotson committed to the Panthers in May, but a change of heart has him staying home and playing for the best program in the state.

According to 247sports.com, Dotson is the 10th-ranked safety in the 2025 class and the 118th overall player. This has been a huge swing for Michigan since safety Ivan Taylor flipped his commitment from the Wolverines to Alabama a few days ago.
Michigan is trying its best to ensure that the 2024 season is just a fluke. They are still the program that played great football from 2021-2023; getting players like Dotson will go a long way in getting the team back on track for years to come.
Now, Wolverine fans hope his high school teammate comes with him and that they put together another run like they did the last three years.
