Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys defensive end, was recently predicted to move to the Washington Commanders soon by none other than NBA’s Kevin Durant. Durant spoke to renowned journalist Kay Adams at the Fanatics Fest and discussed several topics, including his latest trade to the Houston Rockets by the Phoenix Suns.

A day before, it was announced that the Houston Rockets would be sending Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks to the Phoenix Suns in return for Kevin Durant. Durant was not only asked about the trade but also about Micah Parsons, who was also present at the Fanatics Fest with him. Durant remarked that Parsons, who is now playing for the Dallas Cowboys, will soon be playing for the Washington Commanders in a couple of years.

“I think he’ll be a Commanders at some point in his career. I would say two years from now.” Kevin Durant said about Micah Parsons when asked by Kay Adams at Fanatics Fest.

Micah Parsons is in his fifth-year option with the Dallas Cowboys and is hoping to crack a pretty expensive deal with the team pretty soon. The negotiations have been going on for a few months now, but the team owner, Jerry Jones, does not seem to have arrived at a decision as of yet.

Despite his contract not being solidified, Micah Parsons seems to be still pretty optimistic about his future in the team. Parsons has been showing up to training with the Cowboys and has been working hard to improve his stats from the previous football season.

Micah Parsons’ Brother Calls Out Dallas Cowboys On X

On another note, Micah Parsons’ brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., seemed to call out the Dallas Cowboys franchise as a whole by retweeting a Cowboys critic on X. The defensive end’s brother is not the only one who has been strongly criticizing the Dallas Cowboys for the way they’re handling Parsons’ contract.

“The craziest thing about the cowboys building a CHAMPIONSHIP roster they really will be like 2-3 pieces away and be like nah we cool … lets wait til next year and see what we can find.” X user, J Tuck tweeted and Terrence Parsons Jr. retweeted.

The Dallas Cowboys did not do too well in the previous football season and will be eager to do better in the upcoming NFL season. At the same time, Dallas fans have been pretty skeptical of Jerry Jones’ strategies, with some going on to remark that the team owner is aiming to tank in the next season and aim for the No. 1 draft pick in the next year.
