Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys linebacker, and his team have been butting heads for quite some time as the talented player is seeking a whopping contract extension. While Parsons did indeed seem positive about the deal going down a few months back, as days go by, the linebacker has become more and more frustrated about the entire situation.

Team owner Jerry Jones’ recent comments on Parsons also didn’t help the case, as fans fear that the defensive end will not get the contract he so very much deserves. There have also been rumors going around that Parsons may soon quit the team. However, Micah Parsons’ brother, Terrence Parsons, put these matters to rest with a tweet on Monday.
“Jerry know wassup yall gotta relax and let it play out Jerry dead ass loves Micah he not going nowhere,” Terrence Parsons tweeted from his X account while also sharing a video where Jerry Jones heaps praises on Micah Parsons.

Meanwhile, despite all the frustration in his head about the contract extension, Micah Parsons has been showing up for training camp with the rest of the Dallas Cowboys. When asked about this, Parsons remarked that he is there to support his teammates and prove to the management that he is definitely worthy of the money he is asking for.

On the other side, those who know Jerry Jones well are sure that Parsons will get his extension. Jones has been known for his theatrics and often holds on to his money until the last minute, just like he did with starting quarterback Dak Prescott.
Micah Parsons’ Contract Extension Backed By Stephen Jones
Micah Parsons asking for his contract extension from the Dallas Cowboys has rallied a vast number of supporters around the linebacker. Recently, Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones also came out in support of Parsons and remarked to reporters that the team is definitely eager to pay the defensive end.
“We want to pay Micah, too. He’s gotta want to be paid.” Stephen Jones said to Jon Machota about Micah Parsons’ contract.

Micah Parsons seems to be positive about getting his deal for the most part. But another side of him seems to be preparing for if the situation goes south. Parsons, in a recent statement, mentioned that at the end of the day it is up to the Dallas Cowboys and whether the team actually wants him to be in the roster, or not. If left entirely up to him, Parsons will be ready to play for the Cowboys until the very end, as per his statements.
