“2nd Opinion in Cabo”: NFL Fans React to Micah Parsons Sighting at DFW Airport Amid Packers Trade Rumors

Cowboys Nation suffered a mini-heart attack after Micah Parsons was spotted at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport today. This started online chatter about his health and future with the franchise. The All-Pro linebacker is at odds with the Cowboys over a potential contract extension dragged out over the training camp period and preseason games.

Parsons saw his name attached to trade rumors with the Green Bay Packers after publicly declaring he no longer wanted to play for Dallas. That came when owner Jerry Jones reportedly tried to negotiate an extension without Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, involved, a move many insiders slammed as “foolishness and stubbornness.”

Fans immediately jumped on the airport sighting with wild theories. Referencing his back injury, one fan wrote, “2nd opinion in Cabo?”

Another said, “lol he’s just playing the game now.”

“Since when is he injured lol,” wrote one more.

One X user tweeted, “Delusion. Like the rest of them.”

“That’s Terminal A… he’s heading to Houston,” tweeted another.

One fan joked, “Micah was overheard asking the airline desk agent if there was a seat on the airplane that mimicked the feel of a sideline medical table.”

The Packers remain the only team loosely linked to a potential Micah Parsons trade. One reporter pegged the odds at “5%,” but even that slim possibility has got fans on edge about whether Green Bay could swing for Dallas’ biggest defensive star. As things stand, Parsons’ status remains in the air, literally and figuratively.

Micah Parsons’ Brother Brushes Off Packers Trade Rumors

Micah Parsons contract standoff with the Dallas Cowboys has become one of the league’s biggest storylines heading into the 2025 NFL season. Still, his brother, Terrance Ferguson, isn’t buying into the latest round of trade rumors.

Extension talks are still frozen, and Parsons has already submitted a trade request to EVP Stephen Jones, so speculations are off the charts. When a viral post from an account claiming the Green Bay Packers had a $45 million per year deal “on the table” went viral on X, Parsons Jr. responded, “The check’s in the mail, Jeb.”

Other NFL entities have also joined the Micah Parsons trade bandwagon. Ex-Packers fullback John Kuhn added a simple “Micah Freaking Parsons” post, while FanDuel TV host Kay Adams even tried to play “fan GM” to lure Parsons to Lambeau.

Conversely, the Cowboys have clarified that they don’t intend to part ways with their edge rusher. Parsons recorded 12 sacks in 13 games last season, bringing his career total to 52.5 in just four years. NFL insider Adam Schefter hinted that a last-minute deal is still possible, reminding fans that “bad” situations often find resolution just before kickoff.

“All we’ve heard is how bad it is. And I think it is bad… But I would say this — we’ve seen other sides come through and get deals done. This one, again, feels a little bit different.”

It’ll be interesting to see the end of one of the nastiest contract standoffs recently as the Dallas Cowboys gear up to face the Philadelphia Eagles on September 5 in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season.
