Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys linebacker, seems to be all geared up for the training camp, which will kick off on Tuesday. Parsons recently shared a picture of a whiteboard with the details of his final workout before the training camp, entitled ‘The Last Supper’. Parsons seems to be giving it all for his team in the upcoming NFL season, even if his contract extension talks with the upper management have not been so fruitful.

Parsons and Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, have been involved in long conversations regarding his contract extension for quite some time now. However, the negotiations are still ongoing, and the linebacker, as well as numerous analysts, have been voicing their frustrations regarding the matter in public platforms.
“Not for the faint of heart…but you can try.. Last workout before camp…I had to send my guys off right!” Micah Parsons wrote in his Instagram post tagging Ryan Meed.
“Def a grave yard day” Parsons captioned his Instagram post, referring to the severity of the workout he has planned for before training camp.

Micah Parsons has been one of the most important success factors of the Dallas Cowboys ever since he joined the team in 2021. In the same season, Parsons also won the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award and fans cannot wait for him to churn out even bigger numbers in the upcoming NFL season.
Micah Parsons’ Contract Extension Bound To Come Through At Last Moment
Micah Parsons may not have received his contract extension yet, but this does not mean that the defensive end will be out of the team before the regular season starts. Those who are hardcore NFL fans know only too well that Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, has a strong penchant for the dramatics and likes to hold on to his money until the last moment.

In fact, Jones did the same for starting quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Although both their deals came through at the very last moment, Jones also did not manage to be cheap, giving them both exorbitant contracts in the NFL at that time. According to NFL analysts, Micah Parsons will most definitely become the highest-paid non-quarterback in the National Football League right before the regular season kicks off.
Until then, Micah Parsons will have to simply practice patience with the team and train hard with the rest of the Cowboys. Parsons and the Cowboys will be starting their 2025 NFL campaign with a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.
