Micah Parsons’ 2-Word On-Field Reaction To ACL Tear Goes Insanely Viral (Watch)

DENVER (December 15, 2025) – In a moment that captured the raw emotion of a devastating injury, lip readers claim Green Bay Packers star edge rusher Micah Parsons uttered the words “I’m out” seconds after going down with what has been confirmed as a torn ACL during Sunday’s 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos.

The non-contact injury occurred late in the third quarter while Parsons was pressuring QB Bo Nix. He planted awkwardly, immediately collapsed clutching his left knee, and remained down as trainers rushed to his side.

Video from the broadcast and sideline angles showed Parsons shaking his head while appearing to mouth “I’m out” to medical staff— a heartbreaking realization that his season was likely over:

Viral clips amplified the moment, with one tweet noting: “If you can read Micah Parsons’ lips – doesn’t sound good.” Social media filled with sympathy, calling it “awful” and “heartbreaking” for the four-time Pro Bowler having a DPOY-caliber year.

Confirmation of Torn ACL Ends Parsons’ Season

An MRI Monday confirmed the feared torn ACL, ending Parsons’ 2025 campaign. Acquired in a blockbuster trade from Dallas and signed to a massive extension, Parsons had 12.5 sacks and was transforming Green Bay’s defense alongside Rashan Gary.

Coach Matt LaFleur postgame: “It doesn’t look good.” Parsons later posted a motivational message: “I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated… I will rise again.”

The loss dropped the Packers to 9-4-1, tightening the NFC North race and dimming Super Bowl hopes without their defensive cornerstone.
