The Miami Hurricanes had a 10-3 season last year and they just missed the college football playoffs. Miami faced the Iowa State Cyclones in the Pop-Tarts Bowl and fell short in that game as well.
The Hurricanes will have a different look for the 2025 college football season. Cam Ward is leaving for the NFL and will be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the draft. Quarterback Carson Beck will be the starting quarterback after transferring in from the Georgia Bulldogs.
Miami Hurricanes Schedule For the 2025 College Football Season Announced
Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal will be looking forward to getting another chance to win the ACC title next year. The Miami Hurricanes will have high expectations once again. They lost out on going to the ACC Championship Game last season.
The Clemson Tigers won it over the SMU Mustangs on a last-second field goal. The Miami Hurricanes will open the season on Sunday, August 31 against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. For some strange reason, Miami will have eight home games this season and only four road games.
They will host the Florida Gators on September 20. The Miami Hurricanes two weeks later on October 4, will face the Florida State Seminoles on the road to begin ACC conference play. Those two teams also hate each other as well. To end the regular season on November 29, they will head on the road and face the Pittsburgh Panthers.

There are a lot of Miami Hurricanes fans complaining about the 2025 college football schedule despite having eight home games and only four road games. The game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Week 1 will potentially set the tone for the college football season and the Florida Gators will be much better than they were a season ago. The ACC Conference is also wide open.
