The Miami Dolphins are having their OTAs this week, as they look to bounce back from a letdown 2024 NFL campaign in which they went 8-9 to miss the playoffs for the first time in the Mike McDaniel era.
Tua Tagovailoa will be a big part of Miami’s mission to turn things around and play better music on the field as a team in 2025.Speaking of which, the Dolphins recently revealed Tagovailoa’s “orange jersey playlist.”
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Dolphins shared the former Alabama Crimson Tide star quarterback’s song choices.
“QB1 brought the throwback jams 🎶,” read Miami’s post.

Fans react to Miami Dolphins QB1’s playlist

Such a wholesome post, however, still couldn’t escape from the negativity of the internet, with many commenters sharing unsavory takes.
“stop worrying about the playlist and focus on being a qb bum”
“What a terrible playlist. We built this city has to be one of the worst songs ever written. SMH”
“Awful playlist”
“Just like his game, hot and cold; some polarizing choices – love Wild Cherry and A-Ha but “We Built This City”?? Really?”
“We’re never winning shit. Would’ve had a little more respect if that was The Diplomats ‘we built this city’.”
“Right up there on my list of i dont give a [expletive].”
At the end of the day, Tagovailoa will be judged by what he does on the field more than what kind of music he’s subjecting himself to. In 2024, Tagovailoa played in 11 games, passing for 2,867 yards and 19 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
