Jordyn Brooks had a solid career with the Seattle Seahawks
Seattle drafted Brooks in the 1st round, 27th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Brooks appeared in 14 games in 2020 and missed two because of an MCL sprain. He had 57 tackles, two for a loss, and two pass deflections. He also had eight tackles in one playoff game.
Brooks appeared in 17 games in 2021, recording 184 tackles, ten for a loss, three QB hits, one sack, and five pass deflections.
Brooks appeared in 16 games in 2022, missing one regular season game and the Wild Card round because of an ACL tear. He had 161 tackles, three for a loss, three QB hits, one sack, five pass deflections, and one forced fumble.
Seattle rejected his 5th-year option for 2024.
Brooks appeared in 16 games in 2023, missing one because of an ankle injury. He had 111 tackles, eight for a loss, five QB hits, 4.5 sacks, one interception, one pick-six, four pass deflections, and one forced fumble.
What will the LB position look like for Miami next season?
Jordyn Brooks wasn’t the only LB they signed so far. They also signed Anthony Walker Jr. from the Cleveland Browns.
Depending on whether they make any more roster cuts to the position, they will be loaded with depth next season with Jordyn Brooks, Anthony Walker Jr., Duke Riley, David Long Jr., and Channing Tindall.
