Hill was cited for careless driving, noted for a “high rate of speed visual estimation” of 60 mph, and for not wearing a seatbelt. Bodycam footage released by police captured the tense encounter, showing Hill being forcibly removed from his car and thrown to the ground by multiple officers. “Tyreek walked in the locker room just moments after this! His eyes were red filled with anger and pain! As he’s telling me what happened, I couldn’t do nothing but feel the pain of my brother!! Seeing this shit makes it even worse man! Completely unnecessary, completely sad!” Armstead tweeted.
The incident has drawn significant criticism, with Hill’s agent calling for the officers involved to be fired. Critics are concerned about the aggressive tactics used in the stop, prompting discussions about police conduct during traffic stops, especially involving public figures.
