NFL fans were shocked to learn about Tyreek Hill’s recent incident with the police during a traffic stop. After that tense moment, offensive tackle Terron Armstead revealed the state he was in when the wide receiver arrived at their locker room.
Hill was recently detained by police during a traffic stop while heading to Hard Rock Stadium. The Miami-Dade Police Department identified Officer Danny Torres as the officer involved, who has since been placed on administrative duties pending an internal investigation.

Hill was cited for careless driving, noted for a “high rate of speed visual estimation” of 60 mph, and for not wearing a seatbelt. Bodycam footage released by police captured the tense encounter, showing Hill being forcibly removed from his car and thrown to the ground by multiple officers. Initially, the stop began as a routine request for his driver’s license, but escalated when Hill expressed frustration over the officers’ approach.
In the footage, Hill repeatedly told officers not to knock on his window and requested to receive his ticket so he could leave. When he rolled up his window again, the officers insisted he keep it down, leading to a rapid escalation where they ordered him out of the vehicle.
Miami Dolphins’ Terron Armstead Reveals Tyreek Hill Was Anger and in Pain After Police Incident

After news of the incident went public, various personalities and fans have shared their thoughts on the matter. Among those who gave a more personal perspective was Armstead, as seen in a tweet he posted on his official X account.
“Tyreek walked in the locker room just moments after this! His eyes were red filled with anger and pain! As he’s telling me what happened, I couldn’t do nothing but feel the pain of my brother!! Seeing this shit makes it even worse man! Completely unnecessary, completely sad!” Armstead tweeted.
The incident has drawn significant criticism, with Hill’s agent calling for the officers involved to be fired. Critics are concerned about the aggressive tactics used in the stop, prompting discussions about police conduct during traffic stops, especially involving public figures.

It remains to be seen what will come out of this incident in the coming days. In any case, expect Hill and the Dolphins to focus on playing better against other NFL teams as the 2024 season is well underway.
