The Miami Dolphins aim for a better outcome in 2025, hoping to win their first AFC East division title since 2008 and secure a playoff victory for the first time since 2000. For that to happen, the offensive line must play lights out and keep Tua Tagovailoa upright, ensuring that he is healthy all season. However, protecting Tagovailoa just got even more challenging because their 5x Pro Bowl left tackle retired this offseason.
The Miami Dolphins’ 2024 second-round pick is under pressure

Patrick Paul, their 55th overall pick from 2024, will take over for Terron Armstead at left tackle. Paul played an important role during his rookie season, taking over as the swing tackle and even starting three games, including Weeks 4 and 15 at left tackle and Week 18 at right tackle. He did a solid job in relief, giving up 15 pressures, one quarterback hit, and three sacks allowed, according to PFF.

The Miami Dolphins had a surprise visitor

The Miami Dolphins kicked off voluntary organized team activities on May 27 and will be held on the 28 and 30 before a short break. The team will resume their practices next week on June 2, 3, and 5. Once OTAs finish, the Dolphins will transition into the final stage of the spring, mandatory minicamp, which will run from June 10 to 12.
Terron Armstead made a surprise visit on the first day of OTAs. However, Armstead wore street clothes instead of a jersey and did not have a helmet. He also made it clear that he was visiting with no plans to unretire.
