Some overdue good news may well be heading the way of the injury-stricken Miami Dolphins.
Not only have the Dolphins lost star quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, to what may now be a career ending nasty 3rd career concussion; but they are also short both starting edge rushers, Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb, as well as guard, Isaiah Wynn.
Miami Dolphins Trying To Make The Best Out Of The Worst Possible Start
All of these players are set to remain on the sidelines for the foreseeable future, as Miami tries to recover from feels to be a season already on teetering on the edge of finality just 4 games in.
However, the Dolphins announced a roster transaction earlier on Friday afternoon in which former Green Bay Packers fan favorite, Tim Boyle, has been officially cut, per Adam Schefter.

Tim Boyle Cut: Path Paved For Elevation Of Star Wide Receiver?
And whilst Dolphins’ fans were far from impressed with Boyle’s brief appearance against the Seahawks in Week 3, the main reason for their jubilation in this move is that it opens a space for a potentially very recognizable face; a face that was just recently signed this offseason.
The Dolphins have released Tim Boyle, which means someone is being elevated to the game day roster.
I suspect I know who that is. pic.twitter.com/PnknCiAtnI

Dolphins released Tim Boyle. Skylar said ribs still giving him some discomfort. But that opens up spot on 53 for Odell (or Cam Smith).

Marcus Maye will be getting the start in place of Jordan Poyer. Skylar Thompson is fit to be QB2; Tim Boyle’s release today suggests he’s headed for the PS and that OBJ or Cam Smith is ready to be Active on Sunday.

Yes, Odell Beckham Jr. (or perhaps starting corner, Cam Smith), are set to be re-added to the 53 man roster, implying that either one of their debuts could be imminent – although Week 5 will likely be too early for either.
Although receiver is the least of Miami’s problems at this point, with both the defense and quarterback position providing less than desirable returns. But, on the flip side, with a trio of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and OBJ in Mike McDaniel’s delicate West Coast offensive scheme, any quarterback worth his weight in salt should be able to make at least something happen.
If not, perhaps it is time to turn (back) to this man.
