The Miami Dolphins hope their pass rush bounces back in 2025 instead of another regression like the one from 2023 to 2024. The defense finished 3rd in pressures and 3rd in sacks in 2023 but dropped to 21st in pressures and 27th in sacks in 2024. Injuries to two of their top EDGE rushers were the reason for their significant dip last year.

Bradley Chubb began the 2024 campaign on the physically unable to perform list to recover from last season’s ACL, meniscus, and patellar tendon tear sustained in Week 17. The Dolphins designated him for return and opened his 21-day practice window in Week 14, hoping he would be ready if they were to clinch a playoff berth. Unfortunately, Chubb’s activation window expired before Week 17, reverting him to the PUP list.

The Miami Dolphins kicked off voluntary organized team activities on May 27, had the 28th off, and will hold two more practice sessions this week on the 29th and 30th. In an exciting turn of events, Bradley Chubb was one of the players who participated in Tuesday’s OTAs session. However, Chubb isn’t quite 100% as he participated in a limited fashion.

During a recent press conference, via Jason Sarney of Dolphins Wire, Bradley Chubb gave an injury update and shared how he’s feeling. Chubb said he’s feeling good and is in the “high 90s,” with the goal of reaching 100% health. He thinks he’ll start feeling 100% once he gets some game reps under his belt and the opportunity to start tackling players.

“I feel good. I’m moving along good and that’s the plan, to be 100 percent,” Chubb said, via Sarney. “Like I said, be out there as much as I can and continue to lead from out front.

“I’d say I’m about 95-99 percent in terms of just feeling good, feeling better and feeling like myself. For sure high 90s – I would say that last 10 percent is just game reps. Actual game reps, actual tackling just to see where I’m at in that aspect, but that’s going to come when it comes and for right now, I’m good where I’m at.”
