Megyn Kelly and other personalities urging Stephen A. Smith to run for president may be only using him for their own benefit, at least this is what Jason Whitlock’s honest take on the matter is.
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock talked about personalities, including journalist and broadcaster Megyn Kelly, urging and supporting Stephen A. Smith to run for president in 2028.
“I may have to leave this alone and just accept that that’s what’s going on here,” Whitlock said. “Bill O’Reilly, Megan Kelly, all the people pimping out Stephen A. Smith [they are] all just like, hey yeah let this idiot run. He’s worse than Kamala Harris. This will be easy work. And maybe I need to join in on that.”
“That’s half,” guest host TJ Moe said. “The other half is that they want the ratings. They want it [and] they want the viral clips, of course. They want the content, and Stephen A. is maybe he’s just a prop for all parties involved. The Democrats want something interesting [who] can draw ratings and get attention, and maybe having Stephen A just in the running on the debate stage will drive up their ratings.”
Stephen A. Smith has made headlines with his bold declaration that he is seriously considering a run for president in 2028. The outspoken ESPN personality has been increasingly vocal about his frustrations with both Democratic and Republican leadership, arguing that the country needs bold and decisive leadership.
Megyn Kelly Appears on Stephen A. Smith Show, Talks About Trump
In her appearance on “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” broadcaster Megyn Kelly talked about her experience with President Donald Trump and explained why she still supported Trump despite his history of attacking her.
“There were a couple of key moments in Trump 1.0 where I really did like the head the double headtake at him like, ‘Oh my god, look what he’s doing,’” she said. “Like when he stood by Brett Kavanaugh, among other things.”
“And then we got Joe Biden. And I mean, it was such a disastrous four years,” she added. “I probably would have run open-armed into the arms of any Republican, but Trump is just the anti-Biden in so many ways and was just tailor-made for this moment to take him down and to take the reins of the country back and to take the country back itself.”
Megyn Kelly is an American journalist and political commentator. She became well-known as a host on Fox News (2004-2017) and later worked at NBC News. Currently, Kelly operates her own independent media platform, The Megyn Kelly Show.
