Maxx Crosby, defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, is not happy with his team’s performance this NFL season. The Raiders are definitely not making it to the playoffs this year, and for most part of the season were at the bottom of the AFC West. In their last game of the regular season, the Raiders played against the Los Angeles Chargers and lost 34-20.
Crosby joined the Raiders back in 2019, and since then has been integral in various components of the team. Crosby was also instrumental in getting Antonio Pierce to be promoted as a fulltime coach for the team. However, the Raiders have announced that Pierce has been fired after the team’s poor performance this season.
“Last year I was very vocal about wanting AP here. That’s very well-known. I don’t take that back. Where I’m currently at, that’s not my job. I’m going to be real. That’s not my job. I know my influence. I know what winning looks like. At the end of the day, I am strictly focused on what I do best. Being at my best is going to help my teammates, my coaches.” Maxx Crosby said on the ‘Let’s Go! Podcast’ along with Peter King and Jim Gray.

Crosby also spoke about his relationship with Mark Davis, the controlling owner of the Raiders. As per Crosby, he ‘loves the guy to death’ and is confident that he would take the right decision when it comes to the team’s personnel.
Maxx Crosby Complains About Raiders Changing Coaches Often
In the same podcast, Maxx Crosby also went on to complain about the Las Vegas Raiders team changing their coaches every other year. This was just one of the topics that he was expressing frustration with the team. It is quite true that the Raiders are not performing well as of late, and it is also right that the team’s management has been guilty of changing coaches frequently.
Crosby spoke at length about the inconsistency that he and the other players of the team have to deal with constantly. Plus, the Raiders are also guilty of making frequent changes to their squad. Furthermore, the defensive end went on to say that he literally has no more ‘guaranteed money’ from his contract.
It is expected that Maxx Crosby will soon be having some difficult conversations with the management about his contract. However, the 27-year-old seems to be optimistic about these conversations.
