Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams quarterback, seems to have recovered from his back injury and is back training with the team. Stafford has struggled with his share of injuries, and his wife, Kelly Stafford, is among those who feel anxious whenever the quarterback is hit on the field.
Kelly Stafford recently appeared on the BFFR podcast with Sydney Leroux and Ali Riley and discussed her most favorite and least favorite parts of her husband’s game. Mrs. Stafford opened up about her favorite parts of the season, while also talking about her anxieties about him getting injured.
“Watching him struggle to get up can be tough. Hard hits, what do you feel? My heart drops every time. But I will say one thing. He knows that. So if he is not at all hurting, he pops right back up. It is for him, and also for the guy that hits him, to know that it didn’t hurt that bad. But also, I think he knows that we’re all watching each other. And the girls have started to notice. They noticed it last year a few times. And I think that hit pretty hard for him. But again, I’m going to miss it when he does finally hang it up. Because I’ve enjoyed so much watching him do what he can do best. And, well, almost as much as a great father, too.” Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford said in her recent appearance on the BFFR podcast.

Matthew Stafford has not been training as usual with other players in the Los Angeles Rams camp, and his regime has been modified to accommodate his injury. Stafford, hopefully, will soon be seen on the field in the Week 1 matchup against the Houston Texans.

On another note, Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams will soon be gearing up for another NFL campaign, starting with a face-off against the Houston Texans in Week 1. The Rams will be coming here after winning two games and losing one in their preseason.
Stafford, being injured, of course, did not play in the preseason as the team is clearly reserving his abilities for the regular season. The Rams’ offense in this preseason was mostly led by quarterback Stetson Bennett, who has been pretty impressive on the field.
