Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams starting quarterback, and his wife, Kelly Stafford, definitely turned heads at the ESPYs a couple of weeks back. Recently, Kelly Stafford reminisced about the beautiful night at the award show where both she and her husband turned up the heat on the red carpet with their matching outfits and also added a witty caption.

Matthew Stafford Contract Extension
For the ESPYs, Kelly Stafford wore a fitted black gown with a halter neck and mesh details at the side of the waist. The host of ‘The Morning After’ podcast wore her hair in a messy bun with face-framing bangs. Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford looked dashing with a deep burgundy embroidered tux with a black shirt and shades.
“Every few years we decide to dress up. Glad we did because @shanemgillis made me almost pee myself multiple times. Turns out, laughing is fun.. more people should try it. Signed, Fat, ugly dog wife 🤣🤣🤣 #espys2025.” Kelly Stafford captioned the Instagram post.
“The staffords🙏🏽” Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua commented on Kelly Stafford’s Instagram post.

While Kelly Stafford is still basking in the glory of her fit-check at the ESPYs, her husband Matthew Stafford and his teammate Puka Nacua are both facing plenty of struggles ahead. Matthew Stafford will be eager to do better than his previous NFL season with the Rams and bring out a stronger performance. On the other hand, Puka Nacua is facing major relationship issues with his girlfriend, Hallie Aiono as she filed a paternity lawsuit and is seeking primary custody of their child.

Matthew Stafford’s Back Injury Causes LA Rams Concerns
As Matthew Stafford aims for a better season in the upcoming NFL campaign with the Los Angeles Rams, his body does not seem to be cooperating very well as the quarterback is still struggling with a back issue. As a result of this injury, the team has tailored their training to ensure that Stafford can practice and at the same time avoid more injuries during the camp.

According to various NFL analysts, while Matthew Stafford seems to be pretty confident of his performance, the team is trying to take it slow and avoid their starting quarterback being sidelined before the season can even start. The Rams will be matched up with the Houston Texans in Week 1 and Stafford will be hoping to start off his 2025 NFL season on a successful note.
