Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams quarterback, was the hero of the team’s win in the recent NFL Wild Card Round against the Minnesota Vikings. Stafford dedicated his win to the people of Los Angeles amidst the ongoing wildfires.
In the NFL Wild Card Round against the Vikings, the Rams won the game with an impressive 27-9 final score. In that game, LA’s QB Matthew Stafford went for 209 yards, completing 19 passes out of 27 attempts, scoring twice. In terms of rushing, Kyren Williams led the Rams on the ground with 16 carries for 76 yards, while Tyler Higbee took charge of the defense with five receptions for 58 yards.
“I mean, we knew what we were playing for today. It was “go get this win”, but man, this is for the people of Los Angeles struggling right now. It’s been unbelievable to watch the whole community, the state, the country kind of get behind them. It’s a tough time to be back there, and we’re just happy that we came out and played like this to give (Los Angeles) something to be happy about tonight.” Matthew Stafford said after the game.

Matthew Stafford also added that he and the rest of the LA Rams feel ‘really motivated to play for the people of the city’. Next up, Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams will play against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL Divisional Round this weekend.

Matthew Stafford’s Wife And Daughters Battle Health Issues, Miss Wild Card Game
Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford’s wife and daughters are reportedly facing numerous health issues as a result of the wildfires. Despite relocating to Arizona, Stafford’s family has been struggling mainly as a result of inhaling air with poor quality.

A few days back, Kelly Stafford took to Instagram to post a picture of her daughters lying in a hospital bed. The entire Los Angeles Rams squad relocated to Arizona in light of the ongoing fires, and the unit has been practicing at State Farm Stadium.

Despite being safe from the fires, Stafford’s family has been dealing with health issues, which surely weigh heavily on the quarterback’s mind. In order to keep her husband safe from sickness, Kelly Stafford and her daughters have moved out so that the QB can safely practice before this crucial part of the season. It is understandable that Stafford would go on to dedicate the NFL Wild Card win to the victims of the LA fires after going through so much with his own family.
