So everyone is making assumptions about if Matt Corral regrets Ole Miss. Corral had a surprising answer when asked about the competition at Carolina Panthers for the starting QB position. He answered with an answer that many are taking as a diss on Ole Miss.
Corral answered with “I took the easy path and went somewhere I knew I was gonna play. I wish I would’ve went somewhere that forced me to compete”. He went on saying he should’ve went somewhere with more crowded QB room where he had to earn the job.
Myself, I don’t think he was taking shots, or dissing Ole Miss. Matt corral was simply saying what everybody knows, competition makes you better. He loved his time with the rebels. They had a great relationship with Coach Lane Kiffen. To the point that we were asking was it weird they seemed like best friends instead of coach and player. I just believe he knows if competition had been at Ole Miss or he would’ve went somewhere with more of it he would be better prepared for the situation he’s in now.
