Mason Taylor, rookie tight end for the New York Jets, has made a name for himself in his new team with his performance at the training camp. Taylor was captured making a spectacular one-handed catch which has every fan and analyst praising the tight end for his play. Taylor, most particularly, seems to have made an impression on none other than running back, Breece Hall, who took to X to state how excited he is to support Taylor.

Mason Taylor was definitely one of the best draft picks that the New York Jets made this year, after his name was called out in the second round. Taylor stunned while he was still at LSU and is expected to do plenty for the Jets in the upcoming NFL season.
“Yall see how lit I am for rook” New York Jets running back, Breece Hall, tweeted from his X account in response to a post which shared pictures of Mason Taylor’s one-handed catch.

Mason Taylor is the nephew of former FOX host, Joy Taylor, who dropped in last week to click a picture with him in the Jets training camp. Soon after Mason Taylor was picked by the New York Jets in the 2025 NFL draft, Joy Taylor smiled for the camera along with a number of other family members in a little celebration they had for their special boy.

Mason Taylor And QB Justin Fields Hit It Off At Training Camp
Mason Taylor is already getting chummy with his other teammates at the New York Jets training camp. Recently, Taylor could be seen getting particularly friendly with none other than starting quarterback Justin Fields during practice sessions.
Fields is all set to make his debut with the New York Jets in the upcoming football season after signing with them during the offseason. Coincidentally, Fields played in the previous season for the Pittsburgh Steelers who will now be playing with veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who last year played for the Jets.

After struggling in the last two seasons back-to-back with Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback, the New York Jets will be more than happy to try out Justin Fields in this regular season. Rodgers was mostly injured in his first year with the Jets, and in the second one did not perform up to par. Rodgers was released by the Jets in March this year and the Steelers immediately picked him up for their roster.
