The Maryland Terrapins’ wide receiver room will look different in 2025 after losing their top two receivers. The Minnesota Vikings drafted Tai Felton in the third round, while the Buffalo Bills signed Kaden Prather as an undrafted free agent. The Terrapins bolstered their receiving corps by adding Jalil Farooq from the Oklahoma Sooners and Kaleb Webb from the Tennessee Volunteers in the transfer portal.
Farooq currently has the most experience and receiving yards among receivers on the roster, while Webb hasn’t played much in his first three seasons. The other two receivers to keep an eye out for include Octavian Smith Jr. and Shaleak Knotts. Smith, their projected starting slot receiver, has the second-most career receiving yards on the team, and Knotts has the third-most.
The Terrapins may not be overly confident with these four players as their top four heading into the 2025 season. Today, they added a giant receiver.
