Marvin Harrison Jr. is continuing his family’s legacy
If he were eligible, Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. would be a round-one pick in this season’s draft. When Harrison is eligible, he’ll be one of the most highly coveted players in the 2024 draft. Harrison had a standout season for Ohio State last season. He’s looking forward to chasing the footsteps of his father, Hall of Fame wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, Marvin Harrison Sr. Harrison Jr., recently opened up on the lessons his father taught him.
According to Nate Atkins with the Indianapolis Star, Harrison Jr. said his father taught him how to get his mind prepared for football:
“He’s taught me pretty much everything I know ‒ more so the mentality of the game and how to approach the game,” the younger Harrison said. “I try to work as hard as he did. He obviously set the bar very high, and I have big shoes to fill, but I’m trying to get there.”
We’ll see him trying to step into those shoes in the 2024 season.
