Mark Sanchez is facing prison time for his actions in Indianapolis on October 4th. The altercation sent shockwaves throughout the entire league with many surprised this type of thing could happen. Especially involving a former NFL quarterback.
However, his ex-girlfriend took to the internet to share her thoughts on the situation.
In the midst of a felony charge against Mark Sanchez, his ex-girlfriend shares that this doesn’t surprise her one bit (Breaking)
It is evident that Mark Sanchez’s career has been turned upside down by his stabbing and subsequent arrest. To make matters worse, he has not been helped by the responses of those close to him – or previously close to him in this case:
Sanchez’s ex-girlfriend Erin Campaneris, who goes by the name Bobby T, is the mother of his eight-year-old son Daniel. Taking to her Instagram Story this week, she broke her silence on his situation and stated that she is choosing to say very little to protect their son. But she did add that “none of this is surprising” to her.
“I am aware of the serious criminal charges currently facing my son’s father, Mark Sanchez. My foremost priority has always been, and remains, our eight year old son, Daniel. I chose to remain silent (publicly) to protect Daniel,” she wrote in an Instagram story on Sunday.
“Now that everything is out in the open, my focus hasn’t changed. I have always been concerned for his safety and for what he is exposed to. Sadly, none of this is surprising to me.”“Like everyone else, I learned of the horrific event through a news alert on my phone while sitting next to Daniel. I still know only what is publicly available,” she wrote.
Bobby T expressed hope that people will continue to be compassionate towards her and her son and doesn’t know anything more than what the public does.
“At the end of the day, I’m simply a mama to a very sweet young boy doing my best to protect his peace.”

Sanchez has been married to actress Perry Mattfeld since 2023. Mattfield revealed back in February that she is expecting twins with him.
Sanchez was involved in a violent late-night altercation in downtown Indianapolis that left him hospitalized with stab wounds. The conflict reportedly began over a parking dispute with a 69-year-old driver near a hotel’s loading dock.
According to police and prosecutor statements, Sanchez—who allegedly appeared intoxicated—accosted the driver, attempted to enter his vehicle, and pushed him; the driver responded first with pepper spray and then stabbed Sanchez in self-defense when Sanchez advanced again.
Following the incident, Sanchez was initially charged with misdemeanors including battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication. Those charges were later upgraded to a Level 5 felony battery charge, involving serious bodily injury, which could carry a sentence of 1 to 6 years in prison.
Surveillance footage and witness accounts are central to the case and prosecutors say more charges may follow.
