Is Christian McCaffrey the best running back in the NFL? EA Sports’ ratings in Madden 25 certainly seems to think so.
It’s no surprise that the best all-around running back in the NFL (and this year’s Madden 25 cover star), Christian McCaffrey is in a league of his own as the lone tailback in the 99 club. The San Francisco 49ers’ playmaker jumps up to a 99 overall after being a 96 in last year’s iteration of the popular video game. With insane stats such as a 99 break tackle, 97 carrying, 96 stiff arm, and 93 change of direction, the former Stanford product looks like the clear-cut top backfield option in Madden 25.
