The LSU Tigers’ 2024 season didn’t start well. They lost their opening game in Las Vegas on Sunday night to USC 27-20.
The Trojans scored the game-winning touchdown with eight seconds left, and LSU’s head coach, Brian Kelly, was unhappy with his team’s results.
Kelly was frustrated in the post-game press conference, slamming the table and being mad at himself for not coaching the team harder and not preparing the guys for the fourth quarter.
The Tigers have had their share of struggles finishing off the game since Kelly became the head coach two years ago, and this season looks no different than years past.
Kelly was the talking point of the college football world on Monday, and even one of his rival SEC coaches started trolling him.
Ole Miss’s Head Coach Lane Kiffin Trolls Brian Kelly After LSU’s Loss
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, who had a 76-0 win against Furman on Saturday, took to social media to poke some fun at LSU’s head coach.
There was a picture of Kelly being angry, and a Dasani water bottle was also in the image; someone tweeted the picture of the Tigers head coach and stated,” The only appropriate way to look at a bottle of Dasani.”

Kiffin responded to the tweet with the caption,” Maybe you just need a Coke Zero and a smiley face emoji.”

The Ole Miss head coach trolls many people, so it’s nothing new that he would have some fun with Brian Kelly.
Ole Miss will travel to LSU on October 12th so Brian Kelly can get his revenge on Kiffin on the field in a game that could be crucial for the college football playoff.
LSU has almost to win out now to get into the playoff picture, and losing to Ole Miss would most likely take them out since they still have to play Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M, which won’t be easy games.
