The LSU Tigers look to boast one of the nation’s top passing attacks in 2025, which will be crucial for a College Football Playoff berth in Garrett Nussmeier’s final college season. The new-look offense will feature Aaron Anderson, last year’s leading receiver, and two big-name transfers from the SEC. Highlighting one of the key additions is a former Oklahoma Sooner wide receiver.
LSU Tigers landed a star 6-foot-4 WR

Nic Anderson spent his first three seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners but only played 17 total games in that span, including 13 in 2023. He had a breakout redshirt freshman season, hauling in 38 receptions for 798 yards and ten touchdowns. Anderson missed 12 games in 2024 due to a quadriceps tear.
He transferred to LSU in December with three years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-4 receiver was limited during spring practices.

During SEC Media Days, Brian Kelly shared with reporters that Nic Anderson was involved in a car accident on Friday, via Wilson Alexander of NOLA.com. Although he required medical treatment, the standout receiver should be fine and will not be sidelined for long. Anderson is expected to practice at the start of fall camp in roughly three weeks.
