Just recently, Kelly Stafford came out with a shocking confession about her past with Los Angeles Rams’ Matthew Stafford. This prompted sports analyst Stephen A. Smith to call her out for what she did during their college days.
Born in Tampa, Florida in 1988, Stafford grew up in Dunwoody, Georgia and Dallas, Texas, where he attended Highland Park High School. During this period, he was one of the top-ranked high school quarterbacks in the country.

Stafford played college football at the University of Georgia, where he was a first-team All-American in 2008. He was then selected first overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft. As the Lions’ starting quarterback from 2009 to 2020, he had a breakout season in 2011, throwing for over 5,000 yards and leading the team to their first playoff appearance since 1999. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2014 and set the NFL record for most fourth-quarter comebacks in a season in 2016.
After parting ways with the Lions, Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 and led the team to victory in Super Bowl LVI. He is currently fifth all-time in passing yards per game and the fastest player to reach 40,000 career passing yards in the NFL.
Sports Analyst Stephen A. Smith Call Out Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s Wife For Shocking Confession

During an episode of Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Kelly admitted to dating Stafford’s backup quarterback to make him jealous. This led Smith to come out an voice his thoughts out in a video he shared on X.

Stafford met his wife Kelly, a former University of Georgia cheerleader, during his time as the starting quarterback for the Bulldogs. They married in 2015 and have since welcomed four daughters into their family. In 2019, Kelly revealed she had been diagnosed with a brain tumor, leading Stafford to take a leave of absence from the NFL to support his wife through her surgery and recovery.

While Smith may have an issue with Kelly’s admission, the Los Angeles Rams star isn’t that vocal about the issue. In any case, that issue won’t have any bearing at all for Stafford, especially with his focus set on the upcoming 2024-25 season.
