The Los Angeles Rams have every reason to be optimistic about their future as they continue to hit on many draft picks year in and year out. Highlighting one of the gems from last year’s draft is Braden Fiske, whom they traded up to select with the 39th pick in the second round. Fiske had an incredible rookie season, leading all rookies in sacks with 44 tackles, ten TFLs, ten QB hits, and 8.5 sacks during the regular season, plus two tackles, one TFL, two QB hits, and 1.5 sacks in two postseason games, ultimately earning him a spot as a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Rams rookie missed most of the Divisional Round

Braden Fiske suffered an apparent knee injury in the first quarter after sacking Jalen Hurts on third down of their second drive. He was spotted riding the exercise bike, hoping to loosen up his knee and potentially return for the Divisional Round. Unfortunately, the Rams downgraded him from questionable to out after halftime concluded.
The Rams’ star rookie will undergo a minor procedure

According to Stu Jackson of the team’s website, during Thursday’s press conference, Sean McVay told the media that Braden Fiske will undergo a minor knee procedure during the offseason. Fiske’s knee procedure wouldn’t impact his availability for the start of the 2025 season. However, it’s unclear whether he will miss voluntary offseason activities, mandatory minicamp, or the beginning of training camp.
