The Los Angeles Rams needed to address their offensive tackle depth after losing swing tackle Joseph Noteboom to the Baltimore Ravens. To make matters worse, the front office chose not to select a tackle during the 2025 NFL Draft. Finally, Warren McClendon Jr., the leading candidate to replace Noteboom, struggled in 2024, allowing 14 pressures and five sacks in five starts.
The Los Angeles Rams could be in play for veteran OT

David Quessenberry is currently one of the top swing tackles available in free agency. He enters his ninth year in the league with plenty of experience in that role, having started 30 out of 84 regular-season games. Quessenberry spent the last two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, including one start at left tackle and three at right tackle in 2023, along with 93 snaps at LT and 17 at RT in 2024, according to PFF.
Since he is one of the best players available, the Rams couldn’t afford to pass him up.

According to Adam Schefter, the Rams have signed David Quessenberry to a one-year deal. This will be the fifth team he has been on throughout his NFL career. Quessenberry will compete for the swing tackle position this offseason.
