The (3-2) Los Angeles Chargers play against the (1-4) Miami Dolphins on the road at Hard Rock Stadium for Week 6 of the regular season. Injuries continue to decimate the offensive line, with four of the nine offensive linemen on the active roster banged up. Joe Alt will miss his second game with a high-ankle sprain, while Mekhi Becton will play despite suffering a hand injury last week.
Los Angeles Chargers’ $21 million starter exited Week 5

Trey Pipkins III suffered an apparent knee injury during the second quarter of Week 5 against the Washington Commanders. The right tackle returned in the third quarter but committed two penalties on the opening drive of the second half and sat out for the remainder of the game. The Chargers cannot afford for Pipkins to miss an extended period.
Los Angeles Chargers’ offensive line hit with a crushing blow

Here’s a look at the Los Angeles Chargers’ projected starting five

- LT Austin Deculus (Third-stringer)
- LG Zion Johnson
- C Bradley Bozeman
- RG Mekhi Becton
- RT Bobby Hart (Practice squad)
Only Zion Johnson, Bradley Bozeman, and Mekhi Becton are the three starters remaining on the offensive line. Austin Deculus is set to make his second straight start as Justin Herbert’s blindside protector. Finally, Bobby Hart, who hasn’t played a game since 2022 and hasn’t started since 2021, received first-team reps during Friday’s practice. The Chargers could also turn to David Sharpe if Jamaree Salyer can’t play.
