BREAKING: Los Angeles Chargers Fans Livid Over The Release Of 23-Year-Old (Report)

The Los Angeles Chargers are going into the 2024 season with the expectations of turning around their franchise.  The Chargers have made the playoffs just once in the last five seasons, but with a young star like Justin Herbert, making the playoffs should be the bare minimum.  That is what new head coach Jim Harbaugh hopes to achieve.

However, there will be one less player on their roster come week one.

The Los Angeles Chargers Move On From One 23-Year-Old

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network:

The Chargers are releasing QB Max Duggan, per source.

Since Justin Herbert suffered a plantar fascia injury in his right foot on Aug. 1, the Chargers now have two healthy signal-callers, Easton Stick and Luis Perez.

Los Angeles selected Duggan in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft before Jim Harbaugh took over as head coach in January of 2024.

The move came as a bit of a shock to fans who thought a different quarterback would be released:
