Los Angeles Chargers Part Ways With Wide Receiver Darrius Shepherd
A settlement was reached between the Los Angeles Chargers and wide receiver Darrius Shepherd, which led to the player being waived from injured reserve.
Aaron Wilson also confirmed that the team had signed CB Chris Wilcox to the practice squad.
Despite being a highly regarded player at North Dakota State, Shepherd ended up going undrafted in 2019. After agreeing to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Packers, he was able to make the 53-man roster when the season began and was named to the final 53-man roster.Shepherd was later waived by the Packers, and for a while, he bounced from the practice squad to the active roster back and forth.
