Shedeur Sanders disappointed many fans, including his own sister Shelomi, with his performance during the Bears clash. The Browns lost atrociously to Chicago, with Sanders himself failing to put a notch on the scoreboard.
Funnily enough, Sanders came to that game after having the best matchup of his career in the league so far, scoring thrice against the Titans. This led to fans pinning more and more hopes on the rookie, even Shelomi, who shared a post on her Instagram Story before the game could kick off. Unfortunately, Chicago was too powerful for Sanders to do much on offense, with the team being practically bulldozed in the defeat.

“Show me sum boss man it’s my birthday,” Shelomi Sanders captioned her Instagram Story post.
Shedeur Sanders has had quite a year this time out, beginning with his drama-filled draft process and him eventually signing with Cleveland. Even during his tenure with the team, Sanders has seen a bit of a rollercoaster, being promoted to backup QB and now taking over the reins as primary signal-caller.
However, the rookie has still got plenty of learning and growing to do, and the team might look forward to a better year next time out. The Browns definitely have gone through plenty of changes in this campaign, having already changed their quarterback thrice. It looks like the team has reached the end of the road, and will hope that Sanders improves his skills over the offseason to do better in the upcoming year.
Shedeur Sanders Backed By Coach Kevin Stefanski After Bears Loss
Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders received plenty of support from coach Kevin Stefanski after the Browns were destroyed by Chicago over the weekend. Sanders has been trolled mercilessly by several fans and analysts, who pinned the defeat on his shoulders.

“Yeah, sky’s not falling. With young players there’s growing and there’s learning that happens. I don’t care what the position is, but look at history in terms of young players, and sometimes there’s moments that aren’t going to go your way, and you learn from those. So that’s no different for any position, no different for Shedeur versus any other player. There’s going to be really good games. There’s going to be games you want back. There’s going to be plays you want back, great plays…” Kevin Stefanski said.
Shedeur Sanders, on the other hand, definitely showed plenty of leadership when he seemed to take the blame on himself after the game ended. Sanders also admitted that he needs to learn to throw the ball as soon as possible, something which had been pointed out by different analysts right during the draft process.
