Russell Wilson and Ciara just hit nine years of marriage—and how did they celebrate? A romantic, sun-soaked trip to Spain. On Tuesday, Ciara gave everyone a glimpse into their getaway with a photo dump on Instagram that pretty much said it all.
“Spain, Actually,” she captioned the post. Simple, cheeky, and very Ciara.
First pic? Russell looking fresh in an all-white combo—blazer over a tee, matching pants, white shoes, plus his signature cross necklace and sunglasses. Next to him, Ciara was a total stunner in a black off-shoulder dress, paired with stacked jewelry and sleek shades to match the vibe.
The rest of the shots showed them fully in vacation mode. One moment, Ciara’s chillin’ in a corset-style dress on their private jet. Then there’s live music, flamenco dancers, and waterfront views. In one standout snap, she’s rocking a glossy black mini and heels, while Russ kept it smooth in black-on-black, finished with a white blazer. Real power-couple energy.

“Here’s to forever more”: Ciara’s love note to Russell Wilson
Beyond the aesthetic, the heart of it all was Ciara’s anniversary tribute. She posted a reel—part throwback, part current trip—and followed it with a caption straight from the heart:
“9 years of pure joy, laughter, growth, and love! God really is the best author! I thank Him for our love every day!”
“Baby, thank you for loving me the way you do. In your arms is my truest and safest place! There is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do for you! I’m so excited to keep loving you more each day! Happy Anniversary @DangeRussWilson, here’s to forever more! I love you so much!”

Their story goes way back to 2015, after they crossed paths at a basketball game in Wisconsin. A casual dinner turned into something deeper. A month later, they were arm-in-arm at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Wilson popped the question in Seychelles the following March. By July, they were married in a quiet ceremony in England.
