Patrick Mahomes may not have had the Thanksgiving he dreamed of when his team badly lost to the Cowboys on the holiday. Nevertheless, the seasoned signal-caller was already in the spirit of the season as seen from an Instagram post shared by his wife Brittany.

Brittany Mahomes shared a number of pictures on her post, wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving, one day before the Cowboys game. The Mahomes posed under the shade of a tree, giving off strong fall vibes. In one adorable pic, the couple can be seen swinging son Sterling between themselves.

Just a day later, Patrick Mahomes and his team had to suffer a brutal defeat at the hands of the Cowboys to end their Thanksgiving. Even though the play-maker managed to chalk up four scores on the board, the efforts of his team were not enough to push for a win.

The Chiefs have actually been struggling since the previous season, with the depleting numbers of Travis Kelce another factor to blame for the Chiefs’ terrible numbers. Meanwhile, it looks like the team will need to put their Super Bowl dreams to sleep and start afresh in the next campaign.

After Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs took a nasty beating at the hands of Dallas, fans have been storming social media calling for the firing of head coach Andy Reid. Reid’s team has been playing disappointingly this season, despite the players repeatedly ensuring their fans of improvement. Reid was behind the Chiefs and Mahomes’ success over the last few years, but since the previous campaign, the HC’s strategies simply do not seem to be working for the team.

Apart from playing terrible football this season, the Chiefs seem to be enjoying plenty of success in terms of promotions and ticket sales. This is mainly because of Taylor Swift’s attachment to the team with her being engaged to Travis Kelce.

Kelce himself has been sorely disappointing ever since his relationship with the singer-songwriter went public, with the tight end acknowledging that all the media attention on his personal life has messed with his performance. After a terrible season last time out, the tight end has continued his absurdly sad numbers in this ongoing campaign as well, much to the disappointment of his fans.
