Michael Irvin, retired Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, seems to have let bygones be bygones and reunited with his own son, rapper Tut Tarantino, after having an online spat with him a few months back. The senior Irvin called out Elijah for the narrative that he portrays about his life and upbringing about seven months back on Fox Sports’ ‘Undisputed’.
After his own father negatively commented on his rap career, Tut Tarantino clapped back in an interview and rubbished his comments. Since then, it’s been widely known that the two famous personalities have not been on great terms with each other. However, to start off the week on a positive note, Michael Irvin posted a picture of himself and Tut Tarantino on a speedboat while cruising on a lake.
“My son @tuttarantino and I out on the Lake cruising on Playmaker88” Michael Irvin captioned his Instagram post with his son, rapper Tut Tarantino.

While most followers were pretty happy with the father-son reunion, there were still so many who couldn’t help but go back to Michael Irvin’s comments, which started it all. Irvin particularly did not like the fact that his son thought that his upbringing was impoverished and difficult, especially since he grew up with pretty great privileges that many people don’t have.

At the same time, Tut Tarantino felt that his father’s comments on his upbringing were definitely not true. Michael Irvin stated that his son grew up in a 20,000 sq. ft. mansion, but the rapper clarified that it was a lot smaller and did not even amount to 15,000 sq. ft.

Michael Irvin Didn’t Like His Son’s Rapping Career
In an episode of Fox Sports’ ‘Undisputed’ about seven months back, Michael Irvin called out his son for his rapping career. While Irvin himself was a celebrated football player, having won three Super Bowl rings in his career, his son seems to have opted for another route and chosen a rapping career for himself.
“I got a son. He raps. His name is Tut Tarantino. If you ever listen to some of his raps, I’m like, ‘Oh God. Where does this come from, son? You grew up in a gated community your whole life.” Michael Irvin spoke about his son, rapper Tut Tarantino.
Interestingly, Michael Irvin was not the only one to call out his son for making up a difficult childhood. Many fans of the rap genre have been continuously condemning rappers like Tut Tarantino, who grew up with privilege but continue to portray an upbringing of poverty and violence.
