Jonathan Owens, safety for the Chicago Bears, is definitely enjoying his long break before his next matchup. Owens and his wife, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, took on Chicago as the Bears enjoyed a bye week before meeting the Commanders.

Owens and the Chicago Bears are scheduled to lock horns with the Washington Commanders next and between now and then have a good, solid break to regroup and train. The Bears last met the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 and will be hoping to soon add another win to their bag.

The Chicago Bears are all out to do better this season after a disastrous 2024 NFL campaign. Analysts mainly blamed it on the lack of proper guidance for quarterback Caleb Williams. The Chicago Bears managed to get nowhere near the postseason in the previous football campaign and have made several changes to their roster this time around.
The team will be hoping that these changes pay off as the team desperately tries to climb up the NFC North ladder. As of now, the Bears are at the bottom of the list with the Detroit Lions ruling the group. After meeting the Commanders, the Bears will be on their way to meet the New Orleans Saints.
Jonathan Owens’ QB Caleb Williams Defended By Angel Reese For Painting Nails
Jonathan Owens’ close friend and quarterback Caleb Williams has always been known for painting his nails. While sometimes the nail colors and designs do mean something, most of the time it is clear that the quarterback simply loves to show off his latest manicure.

Despite all the hate he receives for the nail-painting, Williams was recently shown some love from none other than WNBA star Angel Reese, who spoke highly of the quarterback in her ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast.
“There is no such thing as too masculine or too feminine. He is who he is, his talent outside of the nails that doesn’t make him less talented than who he is, that doesn’t make him less of a man. I think it’s important to be able to be who you are in this world. Everyone cannot be the same person.” Angel Reese said about Caleb Williams.
Angel Reese further commended Caleb Williams for raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention through his nail art. Reese also called out haters even before anyone could post comments on her opinions on Williams.
