It was revealed in 2018 that Simone Biles was "sexually abused" by Larry Nassar, the disgraced sports doctor. "I too am one of the many survivors that was sexually abused by Larry Nassar," Biles, said in a statement released on her Twitter (X) account. The ramifications of that case is still happening in 2025. Additionally, the text criticized her for discussing her marriage online. “Also don’t go on the internet taking criticism from strangers about your husband or marriage. It shows how young and immature you really are damaged goods,” the second text read.   Biles, who has won 11 Olympic medals and is celebrated for her contributions to gymnastics, expressed her dismay at the message in her Instagram Story.  She wrote, “Hope y’all are having a better day than me. These are the texts I receive from random a** numbers. Btw y’all are f***in weird for this.” FYI, Larry Nassar was a well-known doctor at Michigan State University and worked with USA Gymnastics, but he misused his position in a very harmful way. Instead of helping young female athletes, he took advantage of them under the pretense of medical treatment.  This terrible betrayal has had lasting effects, leading to more than $1 billion set aside to support Nassar’s victims. According to a recent report, USA Gymnastics failed to investigate allegations that team doctor Larry Nassar abused Simone Biles.  According to the Wall Street Journal article, Biles was deliberately kept in the dark during the investigation into Nassar's actions.  For All NFL And College Football Content: Jan 10, 2025; New York, New York, USA; American gymnast Simone Biles (right) and her husband NFL player Jonathan Owens walk off the court following a game between the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder at Madison Square Garden. Jonathan Owens, Chicago Bears safety, seems to be making good use of his NFL offseason by traveling to different places with his wife, Simone Biles. Owens and Biles were recently spotted holding hands while walking on a beach in Belize, according to a picture posted on the NFL player’s Instagram story.

Owens and Biles, who got married back in 2023, have already made a trip to Switzerland and South Africa in this NFL offseason and have now traveled to Belize recently. Jonathan Owens, who will be playing his second season with the Chicago Bears, will be aiming to get as much rest as possible in the next couple of months before the regular season kicks off in September.

The Chicago Bears safety and his Olympic gold-medalist wife have been spotted at multiple public events this year, including the Kentucky Derby and even the Met Gala. From their appearances, it seems like the football safety and his wife are very much into each other and have no qualms in showing off their love and romance.

Jonathan Owens and the Chicago Bears will be hoping to secure a much better record in the upcoming season when compared to the previous year. Last year, the Bears were definitely unimpressive and are eager to rewrite their performance in the upcoming season.

The Chicago Bears have been pretty busy in their offseason, making many changes to their roster to strengthen both sides. The Bears will be seen in action for the first time in the next regular season when they take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 NFL.

Jonathan Owens Hosts Free Football Camp At Alma Mater

Before his trip to Belize, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens reportedly hosted a youth football camp at his alma mater, CBC High School in St. Louis. The camp was free of cost to attend, and the safety could be seen mingling closely with the attendees and taking an active part in their training.

The school later shared multiple posts and stories from his time with the young athletes, where the Chicago Bears safety can be seen instructing gently, but encouragingly. This is the fourth edition of the football camp, and the little athletes seem to be pretty eager to join the training with the professional football players year after year. Owens’ wife, Simone Biles, also attended the camp and quietly supported her husband from the sidelines.
