Dak Prescott tugged at heartstrings before the game against the Cardinals on Monday night when the QB was seen bowing his head in prayer, seemingly in honor of his late mother who passed away on that date 12 years ago. Peggy struggled with Stage 4 colon cancer before passing away, leaving a heartbroken and forever-changed Prescott, who has been inspired to do plenty philanthropically in her honor.
Prescott can be seen standing on the field, praying with his head bowed down, and then crossing himself before pointing towards the sky. Fans of Prescott have been pouring in tributes for his mother on social media, mainly since she has been hailed as taking active steps to shape the player while he was still young.

“Dak Prescott taking a long moment here before Monday Night Football. Have to think he said some words for his late mother, Peggy, who passed away from colon cancer 12 years ago today.” Jeff Kolb tweeted while sharing a clip of Prescott praying.
“Prayers for your Family Dak that the Beautiful Memories will bring a smile on your face and Peace in your heart knowing it wasn’t goodbye, but till we meet again in Heaven” one fan said.
“She did a great job on that young man” another fan said.

While Dak Prescott’s tribute to his late mother was truly appreciated by everyone watching, the signal-caller did not have much luck with his team losing badly to the Cardinals. Prescott managed a single score in that game which was definitely not enough to pull off a win.
Dak Prescott’s Team Mocked For Trading For Logan Wilson
Dak Prescott’s Cowboys have been severely under fire ever since this season kicked off and have been mocked a lot more in the last 24 hours after it was announced that the team traded for Logan Wilson before the deadline.

“A deal for Dallas: Cowboys are finalizing a trade to acquire Bengals MLB Logan Wilson, sources tell me and Todd Archer. Earlier Monday, Jerry Jones told Stephen A. Smith that the Cowboys have made a trade ahead of Tuesday’s NFL deadline. It is expected to be for Wilson, for whom the Bengals have been seeking a sixth-round pick. Wilson signed a four-year $36 million extension in July 2023 that still has two years remaining on it after this season.” Adam Schefter tweeted.

While Jerry Jones seems pretty happy with the move, not all Cowboys fans are glad about this trade. This especially comes as Jones kept the news of the trade under wraps and built up the suspense for quite some time before announcing it to the public.
